Rotimpres in Girona chooses IN-LOG | GÄMMERLER

Rotimpres was founded in 1982 in Girona, Spain to provide printing services to the local newspaper El Punt. After a strategic reorientation, a new and modern 15,000 m² plant was built in 2001. The goal was to become an independent printing company with the possibility of significant growth. The path of sustainable growth is reflected today in a strong export-based turnover (more than 70%). Today, Rotimpres supports its customers with several web and sheetfed presses, an integrated bindery for saddle-stitched and perfect bound products and a fully automated workflow system for customer files.
In 2024 Rotimpres invested in a new and highly automated 32p Lithoman (with LED-UV). After carefully analyzing production structure and workflow the decision was made to install a fully automatic post press solution including conveying, head/foot trimming, lift stacking with automatic size adjustment, bundle turning for best processing in the bindery and with a robot for the fully automatic palletizing of the magazines. Because of the short runs and changing formats the compensating stacker will be equipped with automatic size adjustment and a job list to save orders which the operator can easily recall to set-up the stacker automatically based on the saved order information.
