MERTEN Group – post press, precision engineering & mechanical engineering

MERTEN Group – successful in three areas

IN-LOG | GÄMMERLER is part of the MERTEN Group, a stable, family-owned business that has been operating successfully in the market for over 100 years. The MERTEN Group has three independent business divisions: Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Postpress.

The group also has a stake in RIMA Atlanta, a leading manufacturer of compensating stackers for bookbinding and packaging lines.

At IN-LOG | GÄMMERLER, we benefit from the group's resources and expertise, especially for complex projects and customized solutions. Another advantage is our diversification through a multi-pillar setup, meaning postpress is not our only business division.

MERTEN Präzisionstechnik (precision engineering)

MERTEN-Präzisionstechnik manufactures complex and high-precision components - primarily as a reliable contract manufacturer, but also for its sister companies MERTEN Maschinenbau and IN-LOG | GÄMMERLER. We process all orders on state-of-the-art CNC 5-axis milling/machining centers as well as CNC lathes and grinding machines. Common to all our systems is a high degree of automation, resulting in impressive productivity. Our international customers value us as a high-quality supplier with extensive experience in the fields of mechanical engineering, the rail vehicle industry and precision engineering (e.g. aerospace, microscopy, orthopaedics).

IN-LOG | GÄMMERLER

The best of both worlds: IN-LOG | GÄMMERLER is a leading post press supplier, implementing intelligent and reliable solutions for commercial, book and newspaper printing.
Our solutions range from single machines to complete systems and include new and refurbished equipment, upgrades, machine relocations and reconfigurations. With the largest installed machine base in the world and a clear commitment to the printing industry, we are the first choice for your post press projects.

As part of the Merten Group, we have technical knowledge, experience and financial stability to deliver these projects reliably and successfully over the long term.

IN-LOG was founded in 2001 as the post press division of the MERTEN Group. In recent years, the focus has been on Europe, where IN-LOG has installed fully automated and highly efficient post press systems behind the fastest and widest presses, up to the latest 96-page web presses. IN-LOG also regularly supplies machines and components to various other manufacturers, including Gämmerler.
For more than 40 years Gämmerler has been shaping the world of Postpress. The FS 260 conveyor system, the RS 114/134/164 trimming lines, the KL 540/560 compensating stackers, the SH 700 log stacker and the PR 460/480 robots are used successfully by a wide range of printers worldwide. In 2021, the Merten Group took over Gämmerler with a clear goal - to provide professional service & support for the many Gämmerler installations worldwide!
